United Site Services Adds to Restroom Trailer Fleet

Westborough, Massachusetts March 17, 2010

United Site Services (“USS”), which owns the largest fleet of restroom trailers in the US, announced today it has purchased 31 new trailers to add to its existing inventory.  With the new purchases USS’s restroom trailer fleet will grow to nearly 300.

Restroom trailers are used at a variety of special events from small outdoor weddings to large public music festivals and sporting events.  They provide an experience similar to the restrooms in a restaurant or hotel with porcelain fixtures, lighted vanities, hand washing facilities, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and even sound systems.   They are used as an alternative to standard portable toilets when event organizers want to create the best possible experience for their guests.

“This new investment in trailers underscores our commitment to be the preferred site services supplier for professional event planners nationwide” said USS’s CEO Ron Carapezzi.  “We can ease the burden on event planners by supplying many of the services they need to ensure the success of their event.  In addition to portable sanitation we can provide security fence, crowd control fence, trash service, temporary power and other customized services,” added Carapezzi.

Green Features
The new trailers USS is adding contain environmentally friendly features.  Solar panels installed on the roofs of many of the trailers power interior and exterior lighting, ventilation and a water pump enabling operation without a generator or other power source.  The trailers contain water saving devices including metered faucets, very low water use porcelain toilets (0.5 liters per flush) and waterless urinals.  Use of a restroom trailer with these water saving devices will reduce the amount of water used by approximately 80% compared to conventional facilities.

Different Sizes & Styles
USS’s fleet of restroom trailers has a size and style for any use.  Ranging from two stalls to a dozen the trailers come in different sizes to accommodate different size events.  For very large events USS has brought as many as twenty large trailers to a single location.  Styles range from the most deluxe complete with plasma TV sets suitable for the most formal affairs to heavy duty models just right for rodeos and rock concerts.
