Don’t Get Burned: Add Portable Toilet Damage Waiver Protection to Protect Your Rental
Wednesday, January 15th, 2014
Have you ever been asked by your porta potty rental vendor, “Would you like to include a “Damage Waiver” with your order? If the vendor did not explain the purpose and benefits of the waiver, you may have quickly declined the offer. Many customers do take advantage of the Damage Waiver protection to minimize risk and for peace of mind. This post will explain the Damage Waiver offered by United Site Services and the reasons many customers happily choose this option when placing a portable toilet rental order.
United Site Services Damage Waiver
The United Site Services Damage Waiver Program is a service to help reduce your exposure to damages when renting a portable toilet or porta potty. The Damage Waiver is an optional provision, which will eliminate back charges for damages that occur as a result of accidents, vandalism or weather related problems.
This coverage protects you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you consider the costs (sometimes as high as $1,200) for a replacement unit or equipment, the Damage Waiver is indeed a small price to pay (only $7.95 per standard unit or less than 30 cents per day!) to eliminate the risk.
Damage Waiver Protects Against:
While participation in the Damage Waiver is not mandatory, a high percentage of our customers utilize the Damage Waiver offer. Here’s why:
- The location of the toilet is in a high risk area (high crime, public area, large crowds) and not secured – especially at night.
- Insurance deductibles are often $500 or $1,000 if your rental is damaged and you will have to meet that deductible before your insurance kicks in (now $7.95 or X is not looking so bad!)
- Mother Nature is unpredictable.
- And accidents – life is unpredictable.
Now that you know what the Damage Waiver covers and why other customers find the protection beneficial, you’re now ready to make an informed decision as to whether the Damage Waiver is right for you and your situation. If you have additional questions on the Damage Waiver, please contact a customer care representative at 1-800-TOILETS.
